Cedar Creek Equipment was founded in 2017 by Mike Johnston, stemming from a passion for heavy equipment, the industry and great customer service.

I have enjoyed over 20 years of experience in the heavy equipment industry and gained tremendous knowledge & relationships from my years at Ritchie Bros Auctioneers working in Canada, Asia & the United States as a travelling salesman and working my way through various management positions to Senior Vice President of the Western United Sates & Latin America and finishing my career at Ritchie Bros as Senior Vice President of Strategic Accounts based in Chicago, Illinois.

During this time I have earned the reputation of operating with high integrity and doing what is right for my customers therefore building very strong & loyal customer relationships. As I continue my journey dealing directly with customers to deliver an enjoyable, mutually beneficial experience it gives me great pleasure to do business with my old friends and meet new customers who become new friends.
